This year, our athlete Max Rahm completed his first professional trail running season, a year filled with challenges, drive, and unforgettable moments.
For more than a year, we’ve supported Max on his journey as he runs across the world, exploring breathtaking trails and stunning landscapes.
To capture his season’s biggest highlight, Max created a three-part YouTube documentary series about his debut in a 100 km trail race in California, USA, one of the UTMB Majors.

It’s truly inspiring to see how far athletes like Max can push their limits and chase their dreams. Finishing with an incredible 5th place overall, he also secured qualification for the CCC by UTMB 2026, one of the biggest races in the trail running world.
Throughout the series, you’ll see Max relying on the Libratone UP during daily training and racing. He enjoys UP’s lightweight feel and open-ear design:
“On trails it’s so important to stay aware of your surroundings to stay safe. But when there’s an easy stretch, I can turn up the volume and zone out. The sound is amazing!”
His favourite colour? Tianmu Blue, just like the energy of the mountains he runs through.
